True Art
I did not know what to say when her tears fell and then my own to see the pain. I only knew each tear was a thread uniting all in the tapestry of Life. The fear was but Love's palette spilled of its richness upon the canvas of the heart. And both were framed in silence sung.

What is Gone
A moment’s
ponder in the silence of what is gone,
Was it
simply a release, a letting go
Perhaps a
choice to take a different path.
The earth
tremors when mountains are born
Yet softened
quivers with the petal’s touch.
Release or
choice, no matter really
The path
awaits
I can see
the mountains
The petals
caress my feet.

Leaf rain
I chose to go walk by the park lake in the thunder and rain. It was a solitary walk, save for the fish jumping, a Nuthatch, Robin and two I know not their names. At times only the curtain of rain then a quick change to the steam of the heated earth. I walked in the silence of a heart unheard. The thunder echoing the plea'd pain beating within. For some reason I sat upon the grass and knew the touch of rain upon the earth. A leaf hitched a ride on a raindrop and landed on my arm. A gentle touch. A whisper without words. I knew my heart was not alone in her plea'd pain. And the thunder rolled.
